For example, metal hoses with an inner diameter of 3-5mm may be used in the connection of some small instruments and equipment, while in industrial pipeline transportation, the inner diameter may reach 300-500mm. The size of the inner diameter determines the flow rate of the fluid and the diameter of the pipeline. Outer diameter: The outer diameter will vary depending on the wall thickness of the hose. The outer diameter size has an important impact on the installation space, and it is necessary to ensure that it can adapt to the corresponding pipeline connection components and installation environment. Length: The length of metal hoses is commonly 0.5 meters, 1 meter, 2 meters and other standard lengths, and can also be customized according to user needs. In the laying of pipelines in the fields of construction, machinery, etc., the length of the metal hose will be determined according to the actual installation distance. In addition, the specifications of metal hoses also include working pressure, bursting pressure, material and temperature, etc.:
Working pressure: ranging from a few megapascals (MPa) to tens of MPa. For example, the working pressure of a general low-pressure water supply metal hose may be 0.6-1.0MPa, while the working pressure of a metal hose used in a hydraulic system can reach 20-30MPa or more.
Burst pressure: It is several times the working pressure, reflecting the safety performance limit of the metal hose. For example, when the working pressure is 1MPa, the bursting pressure may reach 3-5MPa.
Material: Including stainless steel (304, 316, etc.), carbon steel, copper, etc. Stainless steel metal hoses have good corrosion resistance and are often used in chemical, food and other industries; carbon steel materials have low cost and high strength, and are suitable for some occasions where corrosion resistance is not required; copper metal hoses have good electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, and are used in electrical and heat exchange fields.
Temperature: The working temperature range is wide. Some metal hoses can work in the temperature range of -196℃ to +600℃, which depends on the material and structural design of the hose.
